Janice Sofia
JANICE SOFIA has been with Ameri-Tech Property Management since 2007, starting as a part-time associate. She has since been promoted to a full-time employee in June of 2009.
Janice moved to Florida in 1997 from Massachusetts with her 11 year old son and new husband John. In 1999 she went to work for the Pinellas County School system as a cafeteria worker. In 2006 she became a Cafeteria Food Service Manager and worked at Kings Highway Elementary School in Clearwater which had over 400 students. In 2008 the school Board made a decision to close this school due to budget cuts. Mike then offered Janice a full-time position with his company of which she was glad to accept.
Janice is head our payroll department, of which all employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis. She puts together the Annual Meeting mailing packet for each association and is responsible for the timely manner of when it must go out to the homeowners. Janice also puts together any Budget Meeting mailings if the association has a different date for budget approval. She also puts together the annual budget for each association, and will attend budget meetings with Board members to make any changes at their request. Janice notifies your Property Manager of all Insurance Policies as they come up for re-newal. She makes sure that everything comes together for each association in a timely fashion.
Janice is in the process of obtaining her CAM License in the next few months. |
