Janice Sofia, LCAM

Janice Sofia moved from Massachusetts to Florida in 1997.  Her two long service employment experiences in Massachusetts included condominium complex management and accounts receivable for a large supply company.  

Janice was employed by the Pinellas County School system from 1999 to 2009.  She has been on her condo association’s Board of Directors since 2005 and has been president of the board since 2006. She started with Ameri-Tech on a part-time basis in 2007 with her primary responsibility that of payroll.  Since going full time in 2009, besides being the head of Ameri-Tech’s Human Resource department, she has the added responsibility of assisting the property managers in creating all association budget drafts.  Janice coordinates all the various statutory required notices including budget meetings and annual meetings as well as the special correspondence letters to the homeowners.   

Janice has become a valuable asset to the property managers and helps to keep them on track with insurance renewals.  She is instrumental in making sure that everything comes together in a timely fashion.  Janice is in the process of obtaining her CMCA license.
